Devan put these guns here to defend the resources that he intends on stealing. They fire incredibly fast bullets and will quickly take Jazz out if he's not careful.
Details
Gunner Drones are basically floating guns. Their behavior is identical to the Sparks, only approaching when the player turns his back on them, though unlike the Sparks they can attack by shooting lasers.
